Energy Efficiency for Europe gathered its members in Brussels for a dedicated meeting to align on energy efficiency policy priorities for 2026, bringing together representatives from across its network in Romania, Poland, France, Slovakia, Belgium, Italy and the Czech Republic. The meeting also marked the appointment of two new members to the federation’s advisory board.
Discussions focused on shaping the federation’s policy priorities for 2026, alongside a fruitful exchange with a representative from DG ENER on the revision of the Regulation on the Governance of the Energy Union and the development of the post-2030 framework.
A clear and unified message emerged from members on the need for stable and predictable regulatory frameworks to support long-term investment in energy efficiency and ESCO-led projects. Such conditions are essential to scaling implementation, unlocking private capital and, therefore, advancing a secure and competitive energy transition across Europe.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to exchange best practices and reinforce cooperation across the network ahead of upcoming policy developments.
