Energy Efficiency for Europe is pleased to announce the appointment of Luiz Hanania as President of the association.
As CEO of Veolia Poland, a valued member of the federation, Luiz brings extensive experience at the intersection of energy, industry, and public policy, where energy efficiency plays a central role in delivering the clean energy transition.
Luiz takes on the presidency at a pivotal moment for Europe’s climate and competitiveness agenda. Scaling up energy efficiency investments, modernising energy infrastructure and accelerating the decarbonisation of industry will be essential to strengthening energy security and advancing the transition to a resilient, low-carbon economy.
Under his leadership, Energy Efficiency for Europe will continue to support the development of enabling policy frameworks and the large-scale deployment of energy efficiency solutions across sectors.
